Allambe Memorial Park holds several Memorial Services each year; Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, ANZAC, Baby Loss International Wave of Light Day and All Souls Day.
These services are held to offer Families a place to come to reflect and to remember and honour the memory of those we have lost.
Service at 10:00 am in the Park View Chapel. Followed by Light Refreshments in the Terrace Lounge.
This very moving annual service is a special way for you to honour your Mother who has passed. In a beautiful tradition, you may write a personal message for her. Afterwards, messages are collected and cremated, with the ashes scattered in our bushland scatter area. This is a lovely way to pay tribute to a very special person. All are invited to stay on for morning tea.
Allambe Memorial Park is proud to host this annual event.

Baby Loss – International Wave of Light Service
Service held October 15th at 6:00pm in the Park View Chapel
Our annual service supporting pregnancy and infant loss is about connecting for life and keeping hope in our hearts. Each attendee will be provided with a symbolic gift of a candle, which will be lit as part of the light inspired memorial 'Wave of Light', a very moving tribute that occurs throughout the world from 7pm onwards that evening. Our message is about sending love, strength and support to all. The ceremony is held in conjunction with White Lady Funerals.
Each year for the past 10 years, people have gathered at Allambe Memorial Park to mark the anniversary of the Bali Bombing in 2002.
The 2002 attack claimed 202 lives, including 88 Australians, 38 Indonesian and five Swedish citizens. Six of those people lost were from the Gold Coast.
Over the years we have seen the sense of peace and emotional support the monument and the memorial service has brought to those grieving over the loss of life in Bali in 2002.
This annual service has been an important part of the healing process for people affected by the tragedy.
