Community & events

The staff at Allambe Memorial Park believe that the most important way to be part of their local communities is to be informative, open and always available. We reach out to our community. We know that in our business, success requires a great deal of kindness, compassion and attention to detail.

Any upcoming events hosted by us will be posted below, with full details of the type, venue and program.

Christmas Memorial Service

Our Christmas memorial service is a non-denominational remembrance service open to all families to honour and celebrate the lives of those no longer with us for Christmas.

Bali Memorial

Each year for the past 15 years, people have gathered at Allambe Memorial Park to mark the anniversary of the Bali Bombings on 12 October 2002.

The attack claimed 202 lives, including 88 Australians, 38 Indonesian and five Swedish citizens. Six of those people lost were from the Gold Coast.

Over the years we have seen the sense of peace and emotional support the monument and the memorial service has brought to those grieving over the loss of life in Bali in 2002.

This annual service has been an important part of the healing process for people affected by the tragedy.

We are happy to conduct tours of our crematorium and grounds for groups or individuals who want to view our facilities.
